In this program, children have the opportunity to strengthen their connection with Spanish. Through play, music, and imagination, we create a safe and joyful space where the language is lived, felt, and enjoyed.
A second language is not just a communication tool, it’s an essential part of a child’s identity. Speaking Spanish helps children understand and appreciate culture, traditions, and roots. It strengthens emotional bonds with their families, especially with grandparents, aunts, uncles, and loved ones who may not speak English.
In a diverse community like Canada, speaking more than one language allows children to communicate with confidence, build wider relationships, and grow up with stronger self-esteem and a greater sense of belonging.
Each session is designed to help little ones learn in a natural and fun way by using the language in real-life, everyday situations. Some of the activities include:
🌳 Games, and interactive activities
🎵 Rhythmic songs and games – to learn vocabulary through movement and music
📚 Read aloud – with puppets, big books, and active participation
🎨 Arts and crafts – using key words like colors, shapes, and objects
🧩 Sensory and role-play games – like the store, the house, or the vet
👋 Culture and tradition – traditional legends and Latin American cultural celebrations through play and imagination
This program aims to plant a love for their language, culture, and roots in every child, supporting their growth in Canada with joy, community, and belonging.
