A 12-week program<\/strong> where children have the opportunity to strengthen their connection with Spanish while enjoying the spring and summer season. Through play, music, nature, and imagination, we create a safe and joyful space where the language is lived, felt, and enjoyed\u2014both indoors and outdoors.<\/p>\n

Why is it important for children to speak a second language?<\/strong><\/p>\n

A second language is not just a communication tool; it\u2019s an essential part of a child\u2019s identity. Speaking Spanish helps children understand and appreciate culture, traditions, and roots. It strengthens emotional bonds with their families, especially with grandparents, aunts, uncles, and loved ones who may not speak English.<\/p>\n

In a diverse community like Canada, speaking more than one language allows children to communicate with confidence, build wider relationships, and grow up with stronger self-esteem and a greater sense of belonging.<\/p>\n

What do we do in class?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Each session is designed to help little ones learn in a natural and fun way by using the language in real-life, everyday situations. Our hybrid program includes both indoor and outdoor activities, taking advantage of the beautiful spring and summer weather. Some of the activities include:<\/p>\n

\ud83c\udf33 Outdoor play and nature-based activities \u2013 exploring parks, movement games, and learning through nature
\ud83c\udfb5 Rhythmic songs and games \u2013 to learn vocabulary through movement and music
\ud83d\udcda Read-aloud time \u2013 with puppets, big books, and active participation
\ud83c\udfa8 Arts and crafts \u2013 using key words like colors, shapes, and objects
\ud83e\udde9 Sensory and role-play games \u2013 like the store, the house, or the vet
\ud83d\udc4b Culture and tradition \u2013 traditional legends and Latin American cultural celebrations through play and imagination<\/p>\n

This program aims to plant a love for language, culture, and roots in every child, supporting their growth in Canada with joy, community, and belonging.<\/p>\n
